Founded in 2011, Bizz & Everyday People came together through the mutual love of music and performance. Co-founders Wendell Bigsby-Church and Katrice Donaldson showcase their musical chemistry everywhere they perform and their clients and audience love them. Wendell Bigsby-Church, eldest son of the legendary Jimmy Church has opened up for the God father of soul James Brown, the Queen of soul Aretha Franklin, the King of rock-n-roll Lil Richard, and many more. Wendell, aka “Bizz” is the ultimate entertainer whose voice possesses a smoky, rich soulful sound full of passion and emotion. Katrice brings a softer side to this lively band. She has sang backup for artists such as Yolanda Adams on the Dove Awards, BeBe Winans, for Kirk Franklin and many other elite talents. Her voice consists of a dynamic range from smooth and sultry to a power-house diva. “Being a male and female duo, allows for us to sing a plethora of music and open doors for all genre’s of music”. Band members Marvin Sams-Drummer, Erskine Ford Jr.-Keyboardist, Khristopher Miller-Guitarist, Marcus Moore-Saxophonist, and Bass player Cameron McAulay combines to form a lush rich sound bed of chords and melodies that powers the band along.
