Ger Hoffman is originally from Flint, MI. He grew up in the jazz, blues, and R&B traditions of Detroit and Flint’s music environments. Hoffman moved to Nashville in 1998. He has performed and recorded with many platinum artists, including R&B greats Enchantment, Jimmy Hendrix drummer Buddy Miles, countless country music artists such as Joe Diffie, Tracey Byrd, Chris Knight, Lee Price, and Kelly Pickler. He has made several national television appearances and has appeared on the Grand Ole Opry hundreds of times. Hoffman has collaborated with former members of the Allman Brothers and Black Crowes. Ger has now retired from the road, writes records, and produces projects in Nashville, TN. Active as a session bass player, Ger still loves to ham it up for the good folks at Bourbon Street Blues and Boogie Bar.
